WindRose Pairings for Tuesday, 10/28

Pairings for tomorrow's round at WindRose are up on the Pairings page of the website. We've got a big group tomorrow and the weather looks like it'll be a great day for golf. Our tee time is 8:30 and we'll be starting on 8, then 7, etc. Our tee time and starting holes should be what is posted on the Pairings but John, our regular contact is out of town so there is a bit of confusion. Hopefully we won't have any issues but please bear with us in the morning as we get things straightened out.

We'll be playing our own ball on holes 10 - 18 and a modified shamble on 1 - 9. Along with that, if you played last week you are entered for the Fall Better Ball. We will count your best score on each hole for the two rounds for the lowest net score and the winner will receive $20 cash. The CTP signs will be set by Kerry's team and picked up by Rod's.

The cost will be $49 for green fee, range balls and lunch plus $4 for the prize pool at lunch.

Been out a while. The leaderboard has been updated and can be seen on the Spaces app or in the member's area of the website.

WindRose, Part II

We're at WindRose again this Tuesday for Part II of the Fall Double. Thanks to the Jersey Meadows boys we're off to a much better start than last week with 8 players signed up so far. Don't hesitate to sign up on the website, remember registration closes at 8p on Sunday night.

It looks like the weather will be the best in a long time after some rain this weekend next Tuesday's looks like it'll be sunny with a high of 80!

We'll be playing our normal games along with the closing round of the Fall Better Ball Tournament. After last week's first round Peter Addison has a slim lead at -2 over Jide and Rodney at -1 with Glenn at even.

The last couple of times we've played WindRose we've had some issues with slow play by the tail enders of the WindRose Tuesday Sr. League. I brought this to John Weirich's attention and along with apologizing he said he would move our tee time back a bit to 8:30 and start us on 8 to create more space to the end of their group. Hopefully that will help.
